Many of you have been asking me about how to write Issues & Debates essays, and about what are strengths and limitations etc. In general, Issues and Debates is a different different that your other topics. For example, for an essay on Gender bias, you could: - Define gender bias - Define alphas bias, then explain using an example (e.g. Freud) - Define beta bias, then explain using an example (e.g. Kohlberg/Stress) - Define androcentrism, then explain using an example (e.g. Autism diagnosis) - Explain ways of dealing with gender bias Notice that you are having a discussion around the issue (showing where the issue is in psychology and how to deal with). As a result you are not writing explicit strengths and limitations in the traditional sense. In some debates, like FW & D, H&R, I&D there are strengths and limitations that make sense.
