This video is in response to a request for guidance as to the first steps of training your rabbit. The PDSA and RSPCA guidelines for rabbit feeding are to use a tablespoon or eggcup of rabbit pellet food once a day for a rabbit under 3kg. My rabbits don't get a bowl of food - all of their pellet food comes from interactions with me. They have continual access to hay, grass and they get a small amount of vegetables daily. In this way, I reduce the risk of obesity, dental disease and boredom and encourage the rabbits to learn new and different ways of finding food.
