In this project, we build a machine learning model to predict hotel booking cancellations using Python and common data science libraries. The goal is to analyze booking data, identify key factors that influence cancellations, and train a model that can accurately classify whether a booking is likely to be canceled. This end to end data science project covers data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation to achieve around 83 percent accuracy. It is designed to help understand how real world datasets can be transformed into actionable insights using machine learning techniques, and how such models can be applied in the hospitality industry to improve decision making and reduce revenue loss.
