I teach students how to brainstorm, develop & build their own passive income projects. Before you get started, I want to talk to you about mindset … I have five rules for a P.I. Mindset. #1 Don’t focus on the money. No one buys anything just to give you money. People buy things that help them reach a goal. So focus on helping people and you have a better chance of success. So that means rule #2 is: Try to help other people. Rule #3 Be prepared to go outside of the box. Resistance allows people to remain comfortable but success comes from venturing beyond your comfort zone. Rule #4 Nothing Is Perfect. Do you own a smart phone? Ever had a problem with it? It isn’t perfect but it helps people reach a goal and it earns companies money. Do your best and put it out there. You can always tweak things later. The goal is to keep moving ahead, which brings us to … Rule #5 Speed Of Implementation Creating a passive income takes work upfront. The difference is you continue to reap the rewards for years to come but resistance fights us and tries to prevent forward progress. So rule #5 is a simple trick. When you learn something, take immediate action on it. No matter how small, and keep moving forward knowing nothing is perfect, and you can return later to fine tune things.
