Hackaday Superconference // Nov 14-15 // Dogpatch Studios // San Francisco Oscar Vermeulen has developed an incredible electronics kit that lets you build your own replica of a PDP-8 computer. From the user's perspective, the assembled kit looks and behaves just like the original. But Oscar leveraged the power and economy of single board computers by using the Rapsberry Pi to emulate the original PDP-8 functions. The project, which he calls the PiDP-8, helped him gain a volume of knowledge about making good choices when developing a kit. Learn from him in this talk which he presented at the 2015 Hackaday SuperConference. Read the article that accompanies this video: http://hackaday.com/2015/12/05/experiences-in-developing-an-electronics-kit/ Learn about the Hackaday SuperConference: https://hackaday.io/superconference/
