Numerical integration: midpoint rule, trapezoidal rule, and Simpson’s rule. Here we will use them with n=4 to approximate the definite integral of 1/ln(x) from 3 to 5. Thanks to the error-bound formulas, Simpson's rule is usually the best, and then the second best is the midpoint rule, then the trapezoidal rule. However, that is not always true!
