Welcome to Mathematical Statistics, or "MathStat" in 2024! This video series is from a live (but remote) semester of MathStat at the graduate and advanced undergraduate levels. Because the students had wildly varying backgrounds, the course started off at a lower and very basic level but definitely ramped up! Throughout the semester we solved problems from graduate qualifying (preliminary) exams from various universities. It was a blast if I do say so myself! In this video: 🔹 Introduction and logistics 🔹 Random Variables 17:03 🔹 Probability Mass/Density Functions 22:08 🔹 Indicator Notation 40:47 🔹 Cumulative Distribution Functions 51:11 New videos release every Tuesday and Thursday! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching!
