What about making a duplicate of an infrared remote controller? In this video, I will demonstrate how you can use Arduino to replicate an infrared (IR) remote control by showing you how to make your own. I will walk you through the entire process of making your very own Arduino IR Remote Controller, from walking you through the circuit to walking you through the programming. How exactly does an infrared (IR) remote control work? The signals that are sent from an IR remote, also known as a transmitter, are transmitted to the device that they control through the use of infrared light. It does it by sending out bursts of virtually undetectable infrared light, which correlate to particular binary codes. These codes reflect commands, such as turning the power on, increasing the volume, or decreasing the channel. The controlled device, which is also known as the receiver, is responsible for converting the infrared light pulses into a binary code that the device's internal CPU can comprehend. The microprocessor will begin carrying out the orders as soon as the signal has been decoded. Objective Therefore, in order to construct a clone of a remote controller, the first thing we need to do is find out what is being communicated by the remote when you press a specific button on the remote controller. This will allow us to create a clone of the remote controller. Second, with the help of our apparatus, we will need to press a button in order to re-execute the code. In order for this to be possible, we are going to construct a simple circuit, read the information from the actual remote controller, and then replay the signals to the device.
