After a few years of living out of a suitcase as a jazz drummer, Sam realized he needed a more stable career. To explore his options, he enrolled in Stanford University’s Startup Engineering course on Coursera. He quickly developed a passion for coding, and eventually landed a job as a web developer at the BBC.
