The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Emperor Napoleon, and completed in 1836. In this architectural drawing I use 1-point perspective to create a 3d drawing effect. Our viewpoint is low down and the vanishing point is at the bottom of the arch on the horizon.
