In 1989, Terri Friesen’s 7-week-old daughter Chantelle was found dead in bed. She had died from a non - accidental brain injury, likely caused by shaking. Days later 21-year-old Terri and her partner were questioned by police over their daughter’s death. Terri was numb, showing no sign of emotion. After hours of interrogation she broke down and signed a confession that she had caused the death of her baby. In court Terri was found guilty of manslaughter and she was sent to Mt Eden prison. But Terri was innocent. **This film is under non-exclusive license from Banijay. All rights reserved.
