Hand washing is the most important infection control technique. After removing personal protective equipment, always properly wash your hands with soap and water also take care to sanitize any jewelry. If soap and water are unavailable use an alcohol based hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol. Be sure to wash all parts of your hands for at least 20 seconds. Once finished, use a towel to turn off the faucet.
