Calculus I (Limits, Derivative, Integrals) **Full Course** - Example: When is a Piecewise Function Continuous?

In this example, we look at a piecewise function that has a parameter. The question is, can we find a value of the parameter that makes the function continuous everywhere? Indeed, if we check that the limit from the left, the limit from the right, and the function value are all equal at the interesting point in the piece wise function, then we will get equations in the parameter we can solve. ************************************************** Now it's your turn: 1) Summarize the big idea of this video in your own words 2) Write down anything you are unsure about to think about later 3) What questions for the future do you have?
