In today's episode I've discussed the different types of powders, transluscent vs setting powder, compact vs shimmery powder etc. The easiest way to tell you what each powder does was to examine and talk about all the powders I've ever owned. AIRSPUN - TRANSLUSCENT This is a loose translucent setting powder. It's best for setting your face and/or baking. BANANA POWDER This powder has a yellow undertone. For most skin-tones, yellow behaves as a colour corrector for most of the problem areas, while you set your setting areas with the banana powder, you're also giving it a warm look and colour correcting. LUSCIOUS VELVET MATTE This is a pressed setting powder, with complexion tones added. It's not transcluscent (invisible) this works as a powder foundation as well as to set your make-up with another powdered layer. LOREAL INFALLABLE POWDER FOUNDATION This is a foundation in a powder form. Best for people with oily skin, and/or people who like to keep it minimal and sweat-proof. LUSCIOUS CAMERA POWDER This product prevents flash-backs in photos etc. Sets the make-up, smoothens and mattifies. LOREAL INFALLABLE SETTING POWDER (BLUE) This brightens the undereyes while it smoothens, mattifies and brightens, it also slightly colour corrects because of it's blue undertone. TOO FACED DEW YOU Powders that have shimmery particles in them, are best for having a finish that is dried up and set in place but to the eye it's giving off a very healthy glow because the skin appears to be dewy rather than dried up.
