https://hdhosseini.com/course/emerson_deltav_basics/ DC in Emerson DeltaV is used to control binary actuators based on process conditions and interlocks. In our Emerson DeltaV tutorial, we explained the concept in great detail. In this video, I downloaded an example from ‘hdhosseini.com’ to only show you how to control a mixer with 3 selectable speeds. A mixture of liquids is accumulated in a tank, the prerequisite for the mixer operation is sufficient liquid level. We start the mixer and a total time of 200 seconds is required for the liquid to be ready for the next step (drain or …). When time passes, the mixer will turn off. In the program, time is SP of integrator block. The first step is to fill the tank and start the mixer in SLOW mode. Time is incremented 1 second. For a FAST operation, time is incremented 2 seconds. You can see in SLOW mode, we have 1 second incrementation. In case of FAST, 2 seconds incrementation is clear. When we stop, timer stops. After reaching to max time, the mixer stops. We need to drain the tank and fill it again with ingredients. Enroll to the course for several other similar examples.
