Daniela Adams, from Poland, at the age of 16 she emigrated to study Furniture Business & Design in Köln, Germany. After more than two decades in IKEA's global management, living in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and China, Daniela moved to Perth, Australia, where she worked at Haworth and Interia. Her boldest decision came at the age of 53, when she took a gap year to live in São João do Estoril and study Interior Design at our school. A dedicated and enthusiastic student, Daniela explains in this video why she loved the course. “When my architect friends from Australia saw the curriculum, they couldn't believe it. I learnt more things and covered more areas here, than in their four-year university courses”.
