This video is SUPER important. So many of the functions we work with are functions composed within other functions. For instance, if we have (2x-3)^3, that is a function f(x)=x^3 and g(x)=2x-3, giving us f(g(x)). Notice that both functions have a derivative. The chain rule shows us how to deal with both derivatives. The General Power Rule is just the power rule but taking the chain rule into account.
