In this hands-on tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to use QuickSight to visualize data coming from a NoSQL database (DynamoDB). I start by showing you how to sign up for QuickSight if you don’t already have an account. From there, I show you how to set up a DynamoDB table and add task items to it (JSON code provided). Then we connect Athena and DynamoDB via a Lambda connector, and configure appropriate permissions for QuickSight. Finally, we build out various data visualizations in QuickSight, pulling from the DynamoDB table via Athena.
