EKS will release patches for the VPC CNI, kube-proxy, and CoreDNS add-ons, AWS-Published EKS Optimized Amazon Linux, Bottlerocket, Windows AMIs (starting 1.24), and EKS Fargate nodes for Extended Support versions. Extended Support does not support other EKS add-ons such as Amazon EBS CSI driver, Amazon EFS CSI driver, ADOT, Amazon Guard duty agent, AWS Marketplace add-ons for EKS, and Amazon EKS Distro.
