Adult CPR is performed by making sure the scene is SAFE and calling 911 or activating EMS. Next, if the patient is not breathing, begin chest compressions followed by two rescue breaths. Perform 30 compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute and a depth of 2-2.4 inches in the center of the chest. These 30 compressions should be followed by two rescue breaths, and repeat the cycle until an AED or emergency services arrives. ProTrainings offers a variety of courses.
