Learn German Lesson 47 - Semi-formal Letter I Halbformeller Brief Semi-formal letter are still a big part of German culture. It is very common for people to receive and send letters; from and to people they know, for various everyday occasions such as parties, semiformal office gatherings, school events etc. The semiformal letters are usually written between people who know each other but have a formal relationship, like with a boss, a neighbor or a teacher. In this video you will learn how to write a semi formal letter (halbformeller Brief) , which is also a part of the A2 exam. (Goethe Zertifikate A2, SchreibenTeil 2). The letter is divided into 3 Parts; Salutation, Text Segment (Introduction and text body) and Closing greetings. At the end of the video you will be given an exercise with 3 points on which you will have to write a semi-formal letter, additionally there are also some tips and main points that you will have to keep in mind while writing your letter and of course there is an example answer for the exercise in the video.
